Can art change the world?
A photo-revolution in the making. This is a long video by Youtube standards, but worth every minute. It is absolutely fascinating and inspiring for any artist or communicator who wants to make an impact on a huge scale: http://www.youtube.com/theinsideoutchannel#p/f/2/0PAy1zBtTbw

My photo on a truck!
The other day, just by pure chance, I saw this truck rolling by with my photo on it! I ran out and grabbed a couple of shots with my phone before it took off down the road. It’s always great to see the work that you do printed BIG and especially on a rolling canvas!

Yellowstone National Park
Last year a friend and I were hiking in Yellowstone National Park and we came across an incredible geyser by the side of the road. No fences or signs prohibiting us from going up to it, so we took took the opportunity to grab some close-ups! (The rangers did get a bit annoyed, but who could pass up such an opportunity?!).

Fine Art Prints
For a while now i’ve been moving away from the commissions to focus more on personal work. It is the ultimate reward to have such an interest from people in the work that you create when it is your ‘own’ work, images that weren’t created for any other reason than for personal interest. The subject could be anything that takes your fancy, but the work has a strong personal...
POWER MOVES Exhibition at Carriageworks, Pt1
In march I had my second solo exhibition at Carriageworks, called POWER MOVES. This was an epic show in every sense and we definitely raised the bar from last year! 16 x images, 2.5 metres wide each, suspended from the ceiling! So great to have a huge turnout on the opening night and the backing of some great sponsors. Thanks to everyone at Carriageworks for all of your hard work and support! And...

Architecture Australia cover
Another one from last year, this was a shoot that I did at the Australian Institute of Architects national conference in Sydney. Together with university lecturers Naomi Stead, Kate Sweetapple and Sandra Kaji-O’Grady, this project was set up to create a ‘collective portrait’ of the architecture profession. Seen as a whole, we can analyse the architecture industry’s practitioners...

Kincare Photography
As this blog is starting out on a back-dated basis, here are some images that I took late last year for a company called Kincare. These guys provide a range of services within the care industry and it was a great opportunity to create images that promote the work of a great company. These guys are true unsung heroes. The work is far from glamorous and i’m sure it requires far more patience...

ICONS Exhibition at Carriageworks
For the first post i’m going back a while to March 2010 and an exhibition that I had at Carriageworks. This was my first solo exhibition and it was great to see it all come together after a deceptively huge amount of work. The images were taken over many years, some from magazine commissions and others from personal shoots, but they all have the common theme of being raw portraits of hip...
